I have replaced an old four-tube fluorescent fixture with this one. Internally it consists of four LED strips arranged in two rows powered by a 24 Volt power supply. I would have given it five stars but the plastic light diffuser seems to hang very loosely, and I am concerned it may fall. Also, it is narrower than the original fixture, so some ceiling work was required to patch holes and repaint the area uncovered by the removal of the original fixture, but I had expected this. Edit: I do not observe a 2-3 second delay as other reviews have mentioned. The startup time is similar to the light it has replaced, which is less than a second. The light is on before I have a chance to enter the room. I'm guessing the manufacturer has resolved the issue described in older reviews.

I am very happy to have finally removed the previous chandelier that was burning a 300w halogen stick bulb. It certainly was using a lot of juice and it never seemed to last very long before getting dimmer and dimmer and then it was a pain to change the bulb. My goal was more light but less Watts. I loved the modern look of the Eileen and the capability to take 5 100w Cree LED bulbsxa0 Cree 18-Watt (100W) Soft/Warm White (2700K) LED Light Bulb *5 pack* xa0was intriguing. I ordered it from Amazon directly with Prime shipping and it arrived quickly and in perfect shape, or so I thought. I hired an electrician I used before to do the swap out and install a new dimmer with remotexa0 Lutron P-PKG1W-WH Caseta Wireless 600-watt/150-watt Multi-Location In-Wall Dimmer with Pico Remote Control Kit, White xa0which I also bought to go with it. He arrived when our schedules aligned and it took him a little more than an hour to do the total swap out. It's really nice to have someone who does this all the time. There were no issues what so ever with the install. When it came time to light it up he spotted and showed me a flaw in one of the globes. It turned out to be a slight crack that wasn't visible without the light, lit. I did examine all the globes earlier and totally missed it. Changing out the globe is fairly easy now that everything else is done. The next day I emailed Kichler about my problem. I told them I had pictures if they'd like. Nope, not needed, they shipped right out a replacement globe and I swapped it out upon arrival. Big thumb up for Kichler, I had no hoops to jump through, they just took care of the problem. Sharp Electronics could learn about customer care from this company, but that's another story. I will link the accessories I used in the review above. I am extremely happy with how the bulbs look, warm kind of golden light and the cool dimmer.

I had been looking for a contemporary fixture for my condo dining area for a long time, and this is absolutely *perfect*. The brushed nickel finish is elegant, and the frosted glass shades allow a soft diffusion of light without seeing the bulb inside. Using it with a dimmer switch and 100 W long-life bulbs. (Literature says florescent bulbs can be used as well.) The dimmer goes from a very soft glow to plenty of light on full power. Since my dining area is small but open, I didn't want a big fixture that took over the room. Includes several lengths of screw-together wire-covering brushed nickel pipe to allow hanging at any height and changing your mind, too. Great price, much earlier than promised delivery, high quality. Highly recommend!

My electrican had no trouble assembling this fixture and it looks great in my dining room. I had looked at lights in stores that were much more expensive and am so glad that I ordered this light instead. It is perfect for the transitional decor of my home. I used LED lightbulbs and installed an LED dimmer at the same time, so the five lightbulbs would not be overpowering in a small room.

Great alternative to the $300 name brands. Recently installed 4 of these in 10'x12' offices. Plenty of light and the selectable color temp is a nice touch. Can't comment on longevity but they seem to be very well built. They were also extremely easy to install.

Like the way it looks over my kitchen island. Instructions were not clear but it was pretty simple to install. It took me about an hour or two to install. Retrofitted my recessed light with this chandelier. I think it looks great! However the quality seems just ok....acceptable for its price. It does come two extra light bulbs. Hopefully I’ll never have to replace it....

They did not include a mounting bracket or a 1/2-3/4 connector, had to use the old light fixture adapter and run to Lowe’s for the 1/2-3/4 connector to finish the install. Lights look great, just expect to have to “jerry rig” some of it.

The item came damaged and it looked like the box had previously been opened. I had a party in the next few days and really didn’t have a choice but to use it. The damage was to the interior area which was strange. The styrofoam was all chewed up in the box which was a mess. Overall I made it look presentable. Since the damage to the wood was on the interior nobody notices and I do get compliments regularly.

I was worried about this light. The pictures in the review showed it very dim ! It was the most easy product to install ever. I have very low ceilings in the basement bathroom which is a very nice finished bathroom. When we installed and turned it on I needed sunglasses ! It lights up everything. Easy to use to put on makeup, dry hair etc. Because my ceilings are so very low this was perfect for the height and limited space it took up. I am very happy with the purchase. Purchased a Lutron dimmer and you can essentially pick the exact lighting you desire !

The fixture is great, light output is excellent and extremely bright. My only disappointments are the color output being on the 3000-3500k end, even on the brightest setting the color reminds me of a dim incandescent bulb. The other issue is the fitment of the glass tubes, one side doesnt align with the mounting holes so its just resting inside the fixture.

Four large screws are visible (two on each side of the mounting plate), probably could have been hidden for a cleaner aesthetic. Mounting plate slots did not fit standard electrical box. Four out of five stars for these reasons. Overall, I am happy with this product.

Went together easily. Construction is a little cheap, but consistent with the lighting industry's standards. Once it's up you'll never notice the sharp edges and sloppy punched holes. The light source is two strips of discreet LEDs, and I was curious if they would show through the lens/diffuser/cover. The light is a nice bright white, not quite daylight. The cover creates a very even wash of light. The LEDs are not replaceable, but that seems to be the standard these days. The cover is kept in place by hanging on the steel backing, so it goes on (and comes off) easily (although I shouldn't need to come off in my lifetime), but again seems a little cheap. My single real beef is that it takes a couple of seconds to come on. It's a bit annoying to flip on the light and initially wonder if it even works. Then it comes on full bright. Fluorescent lights come partially on then go to full brightness, which is also annoying. However, we have other LED lights that come on instantly, so other manufacturers have figured out how to do it. Again, maybe this is a sign of a "value priced" unit.

Replacing two fluorescent two tube fixtures. These provide a good white and bright but not harsh light. Easy to install. Came package very well. Some of the views said they were received broken but not in my case. A little shorter than the existing fixtures so be ready to paint the ceiling before installation.

Great light that was easy to install. More than twice as bright than my 2bulb fluorescent it replaced in my small kitchen. Very light fixture, so was able to install in by myself. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is cuz I think it is a bit overpriced. They're making a pretty good margin selling this for $129, but overall I have no complaints.

I received a free coupon to test this out, and enjoyed it so much that I went back and bought a second one on my own. So this is a combination review of my own experience. First of all, this is RGB, meaning there are three colors of lights. The control that comes with it allows you to set many variations of the lights, running, fading, jumping. If you are using these inset, you can create variations of total color, for example, when you push purple, the red and blue lights come on. I received the ones that aren't waterproof to test indoors, and I decided to create ambiance in our bath. We use a handheld shower and sliding shower seat because of my husband's disability, so there is no moisture that gets up there. I love having the cheerful aura, and I enjoy keeping dim lights on at night. These have stayed well on my shower which is fiberglass. I ran into an issue with the outdoor lights, so I thought I'd give you some tips. These must be located on a CLEAN totally smooth surface. I suggest a window, and clean the area where you will be using these (windex is good, especially with ammonia). If your window is dirty, or if the surface is textured, these will not stick properly. Also, if you are considering controlling these with the control, my experience has been that the lights need to be in line of sight. BUT, these have a wonderful feature. Whatever setting they are on when you turn them off, remains the same setting when you turn them on. So, fear not, they work well with your timer! The cord from the outlet to the converter is about three feet, and the cord from the converter to the lights is also about three feet. There is a sticky pad that will allow you to hold the converter onto a surface, but you need to keep this in mind when installing them. I am amazed by how much light these put out, and wish I could hang them in other areas of my home that aren't so smooth.

This is a very nice looking modern lamp, perfect style for our bathroom. It would be five stars if not for two issues. While the description says you can use a dimmer, it does not say it needs a special dimmer and I haven't seen one for less that $40.00. Second, the lamp has a bit of a buzzing sound.
